Swimming for cardiovascular fitness and a little bit of socializing with like-minded people.
I am a life-long swimmer, but swim by a variety of ages and levels of experience in this Masters Swim Club. I’m in the “middle of the pack”.
I choose to swim with a Masters Swim club which meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6AM to work out, instead of swimming on my own at a more reasonable time of day because I appreciate the value of a coach who is well-trained at giving me a full-body, non-lopsided workout.
I started this trek in September 2008 and look forward to getting into better physical shape and having more energy, while making a few friends in the process.
